Woah...I'm back!!

What's up everybody, or at least the twelve followers I have. Maybe that will change soon. So, what's new? Well, lets see. I have two teeth, yeah, TWO! I know, I'm cool. Actually I am working on a couple more as we speak. Man, not very comfortable having to go through this. But dad says that everyone did it, so I know I can too. Just will fuss a bit every once and awhile, hey, I need my attention.

Oh man, guess what. I went to the beach...yeah boy! AWESOME! I love it. I wasn't afraid or anything, just let the waves crash right on me. Man, I wish we had beaches here in Colorado. I need to find a place with mountains, snow, and beaches. Hmmm, I will see what I can do. So, I didn't see any other beach babes there. Little disappointed I must say. I was there, flexing the ol beach muscles and everything. I know ladies, watch out, I am a handsome little dude. Well, that's what my mommy says to me. No tan though, thanks dad for the Irish complexion. haha. It's all good.

So, I was super busy while I was there. Stayed at both grandparents house and my uncle/aunts house too. Oh yeah, I have the greatest Godparents ever. I am very lucky, thanks Uncle Dan and Aunt Amy, I had a blast at your house. Oh yeah, I got to stay on a beautiful island, eat at Cedar Key, and shop with the grandmas. Yeah, I threw the shopping thing in...it was for them, I just slept. But none the less, I was busy.

Met my great grandma! That was cool, I am glad to have a great grandma. It was fun to hang out with her too. Get to show off my crawling skills.

Oh man, almost forgot. I CAN CRAWL! Been crawling for quite awhile now, loving it. I can climb stairs too, and pretty much everything else for that fact. Super close to walking...keep ya posted.

Well, flew on an airplane too. Not too bad. Met another baby on the plane. He had big teeth and was older than me. Yeah, we played some peek-a-boo and had a staring contest...yeah, I won of course. Good times.

Ok, lots of stuff going on, but I am tired and need a nap. Might have a walk in my future and some serious play time. I will keep you guys posted. GO RANGERS, YANKEES SUCK!! That's for my dad...don't hate!

Ciao,

USA vs. ENGLAND

Whoa, what a crazy good game...kinda. England's goal was very good, ours was, eh. Poor Robert Green, how do ya miss it like that. Looks like you will have to become a U.S. citizen now to avoid death by home country. Don't get me wrong here, we will take the draw, but wished it could have been another way. Plus, 60 years for this, a draw. I was looking for a clear cut winner. Yet still, it was more exciting than I expected it to be early. I was glad it started off with some intensity. None of this careful timid play. Man, my boy Howard is a stud. What a keeper to take a spike to the chest and keep on going like he did. Good job. Yup, I know...my soccer/futbol knowledge just blows you all away. It's OK, bask in my knowledge, it's a beautiful thing.

A good World Cup so far none the less I would say. My Redsox are doing well as of the past couple days, that's great. Knock on wood. Man, what a crazy sport packed month or so. The Tour starts early next month too, whoa, that's like almost a month and a half of packedness. Yes, packedness is a word, it's mine, I made it up. Hey, I'm like 5 mos or so, I can do these things. Don't you judge me! ;-)

Other than that, things are well. The weather is ish. Hot then cold and windy then rainy...doesn't really know what it wants to do. Kinda like college football conferences. Oh, don't even get me started. Pops and I debated this at length the other day. Do we really want Oklahoma or Texas A&M in the SEC? Plus, why did CU go to the PAC 10? It's not like there good. They don't have a baseball team, softball team, or tennis I think. What are they bringing to the table. Also, there closest away game is like 800 miles away...nice, not really. So that makes it the Pacific Conference plus a couple mountain western teams. Ok, done with that. You know what the best part of the Blackhawks winning the Stanley Cup is...NO MORE FREAKIN HOCKEY! Yeah, I said it. Well, that's the sports review for tonight, stay tuned for your local weather...hahaha.

Alright, I'm tired now. Stay thirsty my friends.

World Cup

HOOOORRRRAAYYYY. The World Cup has officially begun. Yes, this four and a half month old is stoked. The opening game was pretty good. I am wiped out, and will definitely need a nap. My dad gets kinda loud, so couldn't sleep earlier, not that I wanted to miss anything. 1-1 was the final score. Really close towards the end. I did notice some sketch calls, mostly offsides. Glad Mexico got a goal after a couple crazy calls. Hey, I'm no ref, but still have an opinion right. Anyways, bigger game tomorrow. USA vs. England. I can't wait. Big rival and the two haven't played each other in the WC in a long time. Crazy. Well, there is another game coming up in an hour, so gotta get ready. Need a quick nap, some food, and play time, then I will be ready. Take care people and enjoy the next month of soccer. Oh yeah, and Happy Birthday to Lindsey, love ya and hope to see ya soon for a little beach vacation.

Love,
T

Tummy Time

Ok, what's the deal with this "tummy time" charade? To be honest, it's not that fun. Then everyone keeps saying c'mon roll over. You roll over! It's hard and makes me very cranky. Well, sometimes it looks like I enjoy it, but that's just for mom and dad's benefit. I know you guys are trying to make me stronger. Why don't you buy me a baby bowflex or a gym membership. That way and I can work on the guns and bat my baby blues at the ladies all at the same time. Sounds good to me. I mean there just has to be better ways. I sleep on my back...maybe I like it. I will roll over when I want to. Maybe I just don't want to do it now, I bet I could, just not feelin it. Woah, I am sounding kinda feisty huh? My B, just got back from being outside, holy cow it's hot. Kinda like Florida...minus the beach, humidity, elvation, and old people! Haha, old people. Old people are like, what, 1yr and over to me. Hey, I am four months old as of Tuesday. Yup, big boooyy! Or at least that's what daddy says to me all the time.

So, like I mentioned, it's hot!! At least it's not stoopid windy too. Man, wind blows! :-) jokes. I'm tellin ya, if it's going to stay hot like this much longer, I am going to have to put my birthday suit on and hang out! :-) jokes...again. Anyways, I could roll around in the ol' diaper. I'm a baby, and a boy at that, little boys love being half to fully naked. It's just a guy thing ladies, what can I tell ya. Man code!

Well, what to do today. Fix the irrigation system...eh, later. Pull weeds, no thanks. Explain the theory of relativity...eh, boring. NAP...yes, that sounds perfect to me. Then maybe a bit of lunch after that with some play time. Eh hum, not tummy time! Don't make me chew on you! ;-) Alright, my battery is dying on the BB, gotta go. Later Gators!

Been busy

Hola amigos. Sorry I haven't been up to date. We have all been pretty busy. Lots of stuff going on around the house that I had to supervise. I have been helping dad in the yard, man we need some work done too. Our dumb irrigation system has a crack in one of the pipes. Guess I will be sweating some pipe to fix it. Ok, Dad and Uncle G will be doing that part, but I will be there watching. Man, we have had so much stupid wind here. I can't believe it. A little man like me would just fly away if I was tied to something or somebody wasn't holding me tight. We are even under a severe wind advisory right now....dumb! That means we can't go to the park or do anything outside. No picnics or nothin!! We had a picnic/bbq in the backyard last week. Just pops and I. It was fun...then of course it got windy. Have I mentioned my severe dislike for wind??? Oh well.

Let's see. Last week was pops birthday. That was cool. I got to go to the lumber yard that day and see a train! Sweet. The train was SO loud, but it didn't bother me. Then I hung out with dad for rest of the day until Mommy came home and we went to dinner. Yup, I was part of it all... I like to think of myself as the mastermind behind all this stuff. C'mon, how many babies do you know who do what I do? It's ok, you can be impressed! Oh yeah, can't forget mother's day. I got mommy a card and made her do a scavenger hunt to find her gift. Hey gotta keep ya thinking. Then pops and I made an awesome dinner. Good times.

Other than that, keeping busy with the bambino stuff... growing, eating, sleeping, eating, playing, texting, yard work, building a turbo. Woah, kee that one hush hush. Thinking I might have to do a blog on the benefits of a tubo and supercharger and how they work. Stay tuned. Ok feeling like I need some attention time to make some noise. Adios.

Cinco de Mayo

Hola! Feliz de cinco de mayo! I am excited for today. I get to eat Mexican food and drink some margaritas and beer...oh wait, i'm only three months. Damn. Well, I guess if mom does that, then I kinda do to...or something like that. Oh well, looks like I got all excited for nothing. You know that happens to me a lot. What can I say, I am a happy dude. I even had a great day today, oh yeah, it was fun. Let's see...I woke up, sweet. Did some exercises...man, I just couldn't hold back my legs, they just wanted to move. So I ran, walked and danced all over the place, with dad's help of course, but wheeeww...what a workout. After that I hit the sauna...just kidding. Instead I had some breakfast, played a bit more, then helped vacuum the house. I am good at that, I point out spots that dad might miss. But you can't tell him how to do it, cause it's HIS Dyson, and you don't mess with it. Anyways, I have a good point of view from the Baby Bjorn. After that, took a good nap. Had some food and watched dad give Kali a bath outside. Haha, that was funny, she doesn't like baths like I do...at least she doesn't pee multiple times during them, I tend to do that for some reason. Then food, and helped dad pick out some recipes for dinner tonight. Yeah, black bean/corn salsa, empanadas, rice and Mexican volcano cake...all home made too, I make sure he does it up right, that's what I am here for. MAN, the wind is blowing like crazy again. I hate the wind. I know, how does a 3 month old hate anything? But sheessh, it just has been blowing all the time, so annoying! Anyways, had to get that out. You know what I mean, you just have to vent every once and awhile, I do it all the time. Usually at night, but hey, whenever you want is fine. Oh, hey, gotta go. Sox are on in a minute.

Have a great Cinco de Mayo mis amigos,
oso pequeno

It's May?

Hey, like my picture? Don't mind the spot of drool, it happens to the best of us, it's all good. Do I look shocked? Yeah, that was my face when dad told me Tebow was coming to Denver! Eh, what can ya do. Wow, time has sure been flying by. I can't believe it is already May. I mean May is a great month, it is the birth month of the ol' parents, but jeez. How old am I know? Like 14 months or something. Not bad. Man, it's a good thing for online shopping for gifts. You know, I can't really drive yet, which makes it hard to get around. I would like to think I am a good shopper too. I am pretty good at finding deals I might say.

So, in the past 14 weeks I have done a lot. I have excellent head control and really want to sit up. I try but this head of mine is a bit heavy which in turn makes me a bit top heavy. Oh well, I won't give up. Starting to like tummy time a bit more, not much, just a bit. Gotta strengthen that core I suppose. I am learning Spanish. Hola mi amigos! That's coming along fine. OH yeah, and I love talking. I keep saying stuff to mom and dad, but it's like they can't understand me. Well, maybe it's because I am not throwing any words out as of yet, but making a bunch of noise. It is so much fun. I like to be loud and wiggle around, that's the best. Eating is going well, that's probably my favorite too. Must be pushing 14lbs or so I spose. Don't really pay attention to my weight cause I look so handsome, who cares!! ;-).

It has been fun being home with daddy too. We do a lot, makes me pretty tired sometimes, so I have to keep up a rigorous napping schedule to keep up. We read a lot of books and sing to songs, that's pretty cool. Watch the crazy animals run around. I also like to watch pops work outside and inside too, at least I'm not having to do it! Getting to watch some baseball too. Although my Redsox and Rockies aren't doing anything spectacular, it's still fun. I like taking walks to the park in the stroller, love that stroller. But we haven't gone in awhile because the weather has been so crazy. Rain, cold, snow, warmer then really really windy...i mean c'mon, make up your mind, it's May like I said earlier. Oh well. We are starting to get the yard going, and yeah I mean we, I help with stuff. Don't let my small stature throw you off...I am a tuff dude! Speaking of the yard, one of our above ground irrigation pipes broke, with the cold I guess, they were blown out, but somehow. So, looks like I have to go and fix it...with dad's help of course. I have to make him feel important too. Well, not much else at the moment. So Adios!

Figured it out!

I figured out who Kali and Layla are. They are our dog and cat, or perro y gato, for those following en espanol!! Man, that threw me for a loop when I was still in the womb, had no idea who mom and dad where talking about and yelling at occasionally. Things make a lot more sense now. Kali is my friend and protector. Jeez, she won't let anybody she doesn't know get close to me without growling and she barks a lot more now too. It gets kind of annoying at times, but glad she is here to take care of me. Good to know who they are. I guess you DO learn something new everyday.

Speaking of new...how about Tebow coming to my D-town! Awesome! My mom is REALLY excited, ;-). I definitely see some Tebow jerseys in the future, and if it was up to mom, season tickets. I even heard that Tebow jerseys are making record sales. What do you expect, that's my boy. I know that pops is happy to have Tebow and the BQ here. We shall see how Brady does. Calm down any Tebow haters, or I will have to come set you straight myself. Oh yeah, I have ways of getting around and I am a tuff kid too. What do you think all this tummy time and weight lifting is for, fun, haha! Well, speaking of sports my Rockies are doing OK, but c'mon Bosox, let's get it going!

Oh yeah, my uncle Dan got his wings in the Navy last weekend, congrats. Sorry I couldn't be there. I had some stocks and business to take care of, and above all see my great aunt Jean!! Who I had SO much fun with. She is really cool and read to me and took care of me and played with me, I had so much fun. I can't wait until she comes back. (of course I had a blast with you too uncle Gino! We talked about a lot of good stuff).

Well, Dad and I are going to do some reading and maybe a second round of tummy time, he seems to like it more than me. Hey, gotta make them happy too right?? :-).

Until next time,
Little T

I'm still here

Wow, what a first week at home with daddy. Man he is always around, which doesn't give me much time to blog. So, a recap huh. Well, the first day was pretty tough. This was the longest amount of time we spent together at one time. So I had to be pretty fussy...you know, to test him out. Yup, he passed. I must admit, we are having some fun too. Hanging out, tummy time, watching baseball, singing and dancing, taking walks to the park, busy. And yes, I can sing and dance too. I don't bust out the robot or some of my other signature moves, don't want daddy to be jealous of my dance moves. But we do have a lot of fun. I went to the park with my buddy Keaton last week that was fun. Even though we both slept the whole time. Of course, I miss mommy while she is at work, but I am very excited to see here when she gets home. Nothing but smiles and giggles.

Still learning Spanish too. Getting pretty good, of course I don't speak it yet, but starting to understand it. I know that my name is oso pequeno and that yo tengo hambre means I am hungry! Good enough to get me by for now.

Oh yeah, the NCAAB tournament...well.....not what everyone expected. I had the winner picked at least, even though at the end I was routing for Butler. Yeah, Dana, don't get mad. :-) I like the under dogs!

Ok, gotta go crush some tummy time then hit up a nap!

YO

Ok, my bracket is officially trashed. I've got one team left, craziness! I can't believe this, I was doing so well too. I don't think anybody has a decent bracket right now. So, I am watching my first Red Sox game with pops. I like it. Can't wait for opening day, going to be good. Oh yeah, for you Bosox fans, they are up 6-2,bottom of the fourth, little update.

Well, I am doing good. I weighed in at 11.10lbs and 24" tall the other day. I am getting bigger and bigger every day. Or my parents say that I wake up bigger sometimes, hmmm. Don't remember growing during the night. Other than that, just hanging out with the parents. You know, busy schedule. Tummy time, play time, naps, eating, smiling, you know stuff like that. I am having fun. Plus, my grandpa Wilt is coming out to see me again next month. So excited. He is going to be so blown away at how big I am and how animated I am also. I will have to show off all my skills when he gets here. Should be a good time, especially with the weather. Man, it is so nice. Today is around 74 and sunny. Grilling season is getting close. Plus we are going to have horse shoe tournaments. Can't wait. Well, I don't get any of the grilled stuff, just milk for me. C'mon, I am two months now, when do I get steak and grilled chicken. Jeez!

I guess I should wrap it up, I think I have a walk to the park planned today and an afternoon tummy time. Take care everyone and adios.

Hola

Oh man have I been busy. Hello, it's MARCH MADNESS! This is like tons of basketball just shoved into your face all at once...love it. And by the way, my brackets is over 85% correct. BOOM, do I know how to pick em or what. So, that's where I have been and that's what I have been doing. Well, besides going on walks with Mommy to the park and all over. Not really sure where we go because I tend to fall asleep during them and then end up back at home sitting in my car seat in the middle of the living room Woah, how long have I been here, how did I get here, and can't you wake a brotha up...jeez?

Wow, the weather out here has been awesome. HAS, been awesome. It was like 65 on Thursday, then 25 on Friday with over 6" of snow. I was having fun hanging out in the great outdoors. We did some grilling, which I didn't get any of. Played some games and watched dad do some yard work. Good times. Speaking of good times, I have been feeling pretty good and awake. Yeah, I still take like a thousand naps, but when I am up I am happy and playful. Pretty cool.

Ok, gotta go. Games are on and I have some tummy time scheduled at 2. Take care guys and talk to ya later.

Love,
Tanner

Mi llamo es oso pequeno

Hola! How's it going? Just thought I would throw in some Spanish. My pops and I are learning a couple languages. You know it's not a bad thing to speak a couple languages. Plus, my parents love Mexican food, so that just opens up all kinds of options. Yup, you can call me multilingual bambino. I can't really speak yet, but I can listen. I can cry in many different forms to get my point across. Mom and dad are picking up on this...finally right. Jeeez, i'm like 7 weeks old or something. I'm also speaking through sign language. Well, not technical sign language, but through body movements. I just get these wicked bubbles in my stomach area, you know by the duodenum...man they hurt too. I don't like them, they make me REALLY mad. Usually a big grunt makes them go away, but they sure make me cranky. My dad calls it gas. First off, it's called fuel Dad, not gas, all racers know that. Second of all, why would I have fuel in my stomach making me cranky. It doesn't make any sense. Haha, I got you guys. Just kidding, I know what he means. Yes, many infants suffer from intestinal discomfort from time to time based upon there particular diet. Woah, impressed I know this and can use big words? Really, that impresses you...Hello, I'm an infant who has been writing to you since I was in the womb, from a blackberry, and who has a portfolio, understands the stock market, and is learning multiple languages...really! huh, okay.

Anyways, what's been going on in the life of El Tanner. Well, I have been taking a lot of walks, well rides in a stroller. I love my stroller (BOB) by the way, what a smooth machine with unprecedented off road capabilities...and easy to fold. That was my stroller plug, yeah, contractually obligated to plug my sponsors. Yeah, we go to a park behind the house and take some trails. It's fun, I really like getting out and taking in some fresh air. It's actually been nice lately. No snow here and slightly warmer temperatures. Well, the no snow thing isn't that great, cause we could use the moisture...oh wow, I sound like a Colorado-ian already. SO, back to the park. Lots of new sounds and smells and people. Even some other babies out there too. Thought it was my park, but I guess we share it or something, not sure on that yet. Although I saw some cute ladies running the other day...what, I can't look? C'mon, I am a guy. I did wave and pass pleasantries, I'm not a caveman you know.

Well, not much else going on. Just getting bigger every day. Not walking yet I'm sad to report. I did roll over a couple weeks ago. Kinda cool. I have been pretty fussy lately and probably make my parents want to smash there heads against a brick wall sometimes...but hey, that's parenting. Am I right! :-) It's all good. Ok, I am getting hungry and need to get there attention. Hope all is well with you guys. Adios mis amigos!

Mucho Amor,
Tanner

I'm back

Whoa, time has flown bye! How's everyone doing? Me? Doing good. Getting a bit more fussy at times, but really checking out everything. Yeah, my new thing is to just look around. Yup, that's it, just look around and take it all in. Have you ever stopped to just look around (don't smell the roses by the way, I don't smell like roses at the moment...if you catch my drift! haha) There is some pretty cool stuff out there to see though. My parents laugh at me and say I make so many funny faces. Hey, have you guys looked in the mirror lately, your pretty funny lookin too.

So, all of my grandparents were here. That was really fun. I already miss them. They did take quite a few pictures of me though. That's good, because I am growing and changing everyday. I swear I am like a few pounds heavier....that's a lot. Mostly muscle of course.

Well, part of the reason I haven't wrote anything lately was due to the Olympics starting. Man, X games and then Olympics, so sweet. Not into curling though, c'mon, you kidding me....curling. It takes like 4 hours to play and nothing really happens. Seriously, why do you need multiple coaches, a strategist, team captain and powerade to play this sport. I don't get it. It's just winter's version of shuffleboard...but not as fun. OK, enough of that. Did you see the snowboarding men's half pipe? Yeah, that's what I'm talking about. The Flying Tomato representing. What tricks will I have to come up with when I start boarding? We have been getting some snow here....FINALLY. SO, I am getting ready to get out there and hit the slopes. Sure, I'm like a month old, yeah, can't walk yet...who cares. Here's my resume. 1. can hold head up. 2. can almost roll over onto back, yeah, really I can. 3. no fear 4. can hold head up 5. know most of the tricks. Pretty good huh, oh yeah, and did I mention the head holding up thing? OK, we'll see what happens.

Alright guys. It's lunch time, then a nap, maybe even two naps, more food then Olympics....man I gotta go, busy day. Take care people!

Love,
Little T

Wednesday, February 10, 2010

What's up everybody? Wheeewww, I am over two weeks old now. Crazy huh. Man, these days have gone by really fast. I guess when you sleep the majority of the day, that tends to happen! Although I have been a little fussy lately...those are my parents words by the way. I don't know why, just felt like crying a bit more. I feel much better today though, getting in some good naps.

By the way, they are putting me on my stomach for some reason. Heard the doctor say I am strong enough to get some "belly time." What does that mean. This is kinda tuff. Put it this way. Pretend your head weighs 50 pounds and you weigh 8. Then give yourself crazy legs and arms...then try to move around! Yeah, kinda crazy. Although, I kind of liked it for awhile. I could move my head around from side to side. You know, trying to get in a good back workout with some extensions. Gotta stay in tip top shape.

Plus, I can see much better which is awesome. Well...maybe, have you seen my dad? Woah, did you see that hair, crazy looking. haha, just kidding pops. I still have a hard time tracking movement and things aren't perfectly clear yet. I kinda feel like a dang armadillo or something. Relying on sound more than sight! Although I would be the cutest armadillo EVER!!! :-)

So, I am kinda sad too. My Grandma and Grandpa Schweer left yesterday. I had so much fun while they were here. Everytime grandpa held me I slept for like 3 hours, soooo comfortable. Plus I think they did some work around the house. Yeah, I heard the noise of the dremel, saw, and hammer. Sorry I wasn't able to supervise. If I remember correctly I was either napping or watching Top Gear...one of the two. Anyways, I had a great time. Plus, my Grandma and Grandpa Wilt are coming tomorrow. Oh man, can't wait. Although I heard Grandpa is a nut with the camera and taking pictures. Here we go! Good thing I don't have a bad side, so every picture will be perfect. hahaha. Either way I am super excited.

Well, I am back to my birth weight, actually a bit more probably. I do have a pretty healthy appetite. Hey, I like to eat. Have to keep up my strength to keep an eye on my parents. Someone has to keep them in line. Oh, gotta go. Mom just got back and we are headed out to get some toys. YES!! Later.

1week down...

What's going on people? Hey, I am officially a week old today. Man, that has gone by fast. Wow, I remember when I was a day old, that was a crazy day! So much happened. I went from inside to outside. That was an experience in itself. I went from a dark warm room to a bright kinda cold huge room with tons of people running around. Then some dude, my dad I figured out later, was there right when I was born. Yup, we hung out under the "baby incubator" for awhile. Exchanged some hi-fives, (which I plan to bring back), told a few jokes, and talked a bit about the future. That was cool. Then it was a bunch of poking and prodding by doctors....that was not cool. A bath, which was nice. It was just me and a bunch of newborn ladies, what a way to start off.

I have come a long ways from there. I feel bigger and smarter every day. Knowing when to cry and how to do it seems to be the key right now. But, I am trying to learn from these people too. Finally they are getting the hang of this. Plus I got my first bath. Well, my second, but first here at my house. Hey, it wasn't bad. My parents even took pictures, but you can't see them. It's not me, it's them, just because I was naked. Huh, come to think of it, I kinda like being naked. What boy doesn't? Freedom babay. Might have to look into this nakedness thing. But should probably wait until it gets a bit warmer first!

Sad to report I still don't know who this Kali and Layla are yet. Grandma goes on walks with Kali everyday, don't know where they go, or why I can't go with them. What is this special place they are going to, do they discriminate against the wee folk??? I mean c'mon, I am a week old now, it's not like I am a two day old. Don't I get some more freedom and responsibility? Just think about it guys. I have some other ideas to run by you guys too. Oh, you want an example. Ummm, ok. How about a stereo system in my room. Yeah, I love music too. Don't get me wrong, I like my little CD player, but let's bring the bass people. And while we are at it, how about a computer in the ol room too. That would be nice. A Mac would be great, no pc. I am a mac guy. I like doing photos and music on the computer. See. Let's just stick to a couple ideas at a time. Get back to me.

Well, not much else is going on. Sleeping a lot today, kinda tired from sleeping most of the day yesterday and well, the five days before that...pattern? Oh yeah, I got to see my uncle G and aunt Laeleo last night. Cool people for sure, plus my first jean jacket experience! Maybe my last too. :-) Anyways, I think we will be basketball buddies. March Madness is coming up soon and I'm ready.

Ok, time to eat! Peace kids.

Love,
Baby Boy Tanner

Adjusting to this

Well, I think I might be getting the hang of this. This...as in eating, sleeping, diaper destroying, fussing...you know, the lot. Hey, I am a baby, this is what I do. Although, wanting to sleep all the time isn't helping my social life. I mean, I have people to talk to, blogs to update, sportscenter to catch up...jeez, where do I find the time. Keeping the blackberry hid from the parents all the time is getting tuff to do. These people are constantly picking me up and holding me, woah. I mean it's like nothing for them to come in and strip me down, clean me up and dress me back. Where's the privacy? Almost got busted just last night. I was checking some scores and dad came in to pick me up. Good thing it was dark and I was able to hide it under the snoopy sheets and between super soft snugly smelling super sweet blanket. Yeah, I rambled a bit there, but this blanket is AWESOME! Woah, I lose focus pretty easy here. Just the other day I thought I saw my hand...and then it disappeared, and the next thing you know I am asleep. What happened? Anyways, couple close calls.

Don't worry, I don't sleep all the time. I did get to catch up on my winter Xgames yesterday. Totally rad. What these dudes and do with a snowboard is killer. I picked up a couple pointers and tips. Tried to explain the difference between a back side rodeo twist and a front side rodeo twist to dad...but he wasn't getting it. "How do you not see the difference?" It's used to identify the direction of rotation of a spin. Heelllloooo! Don't worry, he'll pick it up. It was still cool to watch. Probably want to keep this on the down low from moms guys. I don't want her worrying about me.

What else what else. Oh yeah, Grandpa is coming in a couple of days. Yes! I'm ready. Got a couple cool outfits set aside for when he gets here. Hey, I dress to impress. Just a little something for the ladies. Ahhh...c'mon, what do you expect, I'm a bundle of cute, I can't help it.

Oh yeah, the boring stuff. Yes, I am eating great, getting sleep, having all the right type of diapers. Had a doctor's appointment yesterday and everything went well. My weight is ok, but I could try and eat a little more. Guess I am not at my fighting weight or something. All systems go! Got to write this stuff, the family always wants to know how I am doing. Actually it's kinda cool to be this popular.

Did you hear that, someones coming. I don't have a wet diaper and I'm not crying...must be grandma coming to hold me. Gotta go. Talk later.

Love,
Little T

My Name is Tanner

Hi, my name is Tanner. Tanner Marlin Wilt to be official. I like long sleeps while being held, as much food as I can get, and classical music so far. Hey, I feel like a new person after FINALLY having a name. I feel like I need to introduce myself again. I must admit, I am a little surprised it's not Tebow! haha. The way mom was talking I wasn't sure. So, thanks for all the suggestions for names. A lot of you must think I am pretty cool if you thought I should be named after you...Mike, Greg, Nick, Nate...but hey, I have to be own man right?

WOW, what a change this is. Not going to lie, this is kind of a lot of work. Mom and Dad keep waking me up to eat. Diaper changes are nice, feels much better. Although I am pretty cranky when they change me. It's cold, what do you expect! Other than that, everything is pretty good.

Well, last night was my first night home. Hey, my room is really cool, I definitely approve guys. However, last night was kind of rough. I was pretty unhappy most of the time. Man it's hard to know whether I am hungry, need changing, or just tired. Half the time it's all of the about. Jeez guys, we need to work on our communication. Yeah, I can't talk, but pick up on the cries there rents, they are all different. I know what I want, why can't you figure it out quicker. Man, this is going to be a learning experience for all. I have a lot to teach mom and dad, hopefully they pay close attention and take notes. They look like a smart bunch, well mom at least. Just kidding pops. At least you put the diaper on the right end. I mean hey, that's a start right?

I am getting excited to meet the rest of my grandparents. My grandpa Schweer is coming next week, can't wait. We are going to hang out, talk Florida football, and exchange recipes. Well, based off the only meals I have ate, probably won't be giving him any recipes. :-) Oh man, all this attention. I love it. So much fun. Well, it's time for a sleep. Talk to ya guys later.

adios amigos,
Tanner

p.s.-still trying to figure out who Layla and Kali are.

First day

Quick note. WOW! That was an experience. Well, I am officially here. I arrived into this world at 6:13pm MST. Oh yeah, I was 7lbs 13oz and 21.5 inches long. Not too bad huh? Man, this place is way different than what I used to. For one, I am breathing air. It's kinda like the movie Abyss. You know, when they have to breathe that purple watery stuff and then, BOOM, they are breathing air! Yeah, that kinda describes it. Except the part where they squeezed my head and body through you know where.

So to all the good stuff. Dad says everybody wants to know how I am doing. I am perfectly healthy and doing great. I cry when I should, probably freak you guys out if I talked just yet huh. Got the poops going. Ok, side note. Why does this make everybody happy. Ummm. Strange. "Hey, here's a present for you."...and they take it. I guess there is a lot to learn out here.

I am sleeping well. Man I am exhausted, all these strange people touching and poking me, c'mon , give a guy a break. Man, did you not miss what I just went through? Try being happy after that! I don't think so buddy.

Mom is doing great, what a champ. I got a big noogan here. She was very tuff. She is getting some rest and recovery. What a beautiful lady, glad we could finally meet. Dad is pretty cool too! He is like a big heater when he holds me. Well, I have places to be and people that want to keep poking and touching me...and honestly, I am wiped out. Much much more to come. Talk to you guys later.

-bbw, soon to be...

Update

Hey guys, how's it going? Me? Doing well, thanks. Things are picking up around here for sure. I hear lots of commotion and talk of getting everything ready. Wow, all this for me, nice, I feel very grateful. I don't know what else they have to do though, but supposedly there is some things left. I can hear my dad in the garage making lots of noise. I heard a couple sanders, a compound slide miter saw, and a Dremel 4000...oh yeah, I know my power tools, look at my uncle Dan! haha, my uncle is a tool...just kidding there big guy. Just checking to see if you are paying attention, have to throw in a couple of jokes. C'mon, I'm a Wilt. Please, that was easy guessing those tools. Try guessing what grit of sandpaper he is using from the womb, now that's a challenge. Well at least all my Gator stuff is washed and ready to go!!!

Yup, Grandma Schweer is here too. She got in the other day, nice to have her here to help my ma and pa. Speaking of arrivals, I actually know when I will be here. Well, I am already here, but like REALLY here, on the outside. Yup, it's going to be the Monday the 25th! That's if I don't decide to "pop" out earlier. They have decided to induce me on Monday. I guess everyone really wants to see me. Yeah, I get it, I mean...I am one handsome cool dude. Don't worry, I am healthy, nothing is wrong, just ready to come out. Plus, I would imagine reception is a bit less sporadic outside my little hot yoga room. I will definitely keep everyone updated for sure. Trust me, I am sure I will have a lot to talk about. Lots of new experiences and people to officially meet. Yeah, I know many of you from Facebook and photos on the ol' blackberry, but we shall meet in person soon. Plus, I think my battery is low on the phone, not really any good places to plug it in.

Also, I have to meet the Grandparents, I mean jeez, they have sent me a lot of stuff...I think I am going to really like these guys. I hear grandparents are notorious for spoiling there grand kids. Sweet, count me in on that. Well y'all...yes I said y'all. Don't hate on the south. Yes you, Gino and Lael, I know you caught that. Don't judge me! haha. Alright I see a nap and some sportscenter in my future. Have a great day......y'all!

See ya soon,
BBW

E.T.A?

So, I am looking at less than a week left in here. Although I have heard that it's kind of up to me. Hmmmm, when, when, when??? Look at me, already in control of my life, making decision, being my own man. How about that! Let me check my schedule here. What do I have going on? College football is over, kinda boring in the sports world. March Madness starts in a few months...that's probably too late. Superbowl in February, not really an NFL fan. Baseball is a ways off too. Dillemas dillemas huh.

I already have some friends that have beat me out! That's cool. I will just have to make my own entrance....well, exit. Better out than in right...ok, sorry. Anyways. Oh yeah, my grandma Schweer is coming out here. Sweet. She will be a big help. Mom said that Kali and Layla love having her here. I wonder why, still haven't figured those two out yet. I think that I will definitely wait until my grandma gets here. I'm getting big here guys.

I know dad still wants to get some snowboarding in before i'm born, but mom is getting uncomfortable. What to do? Alright dad, throw in some cool toys and I will hold off for a bit and give ya a day or two to get up. Don't tell mom, don't want to piss off mom. Everybody knows better than that! I mean she gets cranky with me sometimes when I kick...hello, what do you expect. I am dealing with limited space here mom.

Hmmmmm, the other thing I am considering is when do I want my birthday to be. This is big stuff. I mean, i'm pretty sure it will be in January (yes mom, I know, I get it...your ready), but what day? Don't really have a favorite number. My great grandmother's brithday was the other day. Not sure when. You know what...I think I will just start to knock when it gets too cramped in here.

Later later,

-BBW

Kali and Layla

Alright, I’m pretty sure there are other people living in our house. I heard my parents talking to this Layla and Kali. I don’t know who they are, but man, Layla is ALWAYS in trouble. I hear them yelling at her and chasing her…what’s her problem. She seems to be kind of a spaz. This is what I hear… “Layla get off that, Layla stop eating that, Layla don’t knock that over, Layla you are such a pig.” Crazy huh? Plus, I think they sleep on the floor. Haha, how weird is that?? I think they have beds, but still, the floor. Not my style. Kali seems to be pretty cool. I don’t hear her getting in trouble too much. Think she has a little bladder thing going on though. I hear them tell her not to pee on the carpet.

Ok, time out. Who pees on the carpet when you have guests?

I mean, what is she… a dog? Get real. She also seems to be outside a lot. She must really like the outdoors. I mean, REALLY likes the outdoors. Seriously, what can you do for that long in a backyard. Yeah, there’s a couple trees, some grass, a fence… I don’t get it. I hear she chases squirrels. Huh, not really a squirrel fan myself so probably can’t argue with that one. Well, I am anxious to meet these two none the less. Wonder if they will have their own rooms too?

So, things are going well for me. Keeping up my routine, staying fit and growing. The doctor is taking pictures of me once a week. Yeah, I noticed. I know how to throw down the cute routine. Rubbing the eyes, yawning, stretching. This kids made for the camera. Alright, I'm streaming the Gator/Vanderbilt basketball game here, getting good, gotta go. Talk soon.

Love ya,
BBW

Who am I?

What's up everyone? Getting close here. Hey, I want to say congrats to my buddy Keaton who popped out yesterday. Man, I thought I was going to win that race...oh well. Guess we probably shouldn't be racing...yet. Yeah, we can race once we are both out. Glad he is healthy.

Oh man, I almost forgot. No name yet. Seriously…you guys suck. Let me name myself. Captain Awesome?? I like it. Diesel…not bad. Hmmm, Tebow. Yeah, of course I am a Gator, you kiddin me. Those who aren’t wish they were. :-) You saw the game! SO, I hear mom saying this name a lot. Check this out, I even heard her whisper one time when dad wasn’t around that she is going to call me Tebow anyways. Woah, easy killer. Let me be my own person here. I mean, I’m going to probably take the Heisman all three years. Yeah, I said three. Let’s be honest, who stays for their senior year. GO PRO. Oh look at me, i’m an idiot, I stayed the whole time instead of making millions. Not hating on you Tebow, it’s cool. Just saying. I mean my dad is a gear head something fierce, we NEED fast cars! Got to get the money somehow. It's in our blood.

Of subject, kind of. I was thinking that we should install a car lift in the garage. Wait, my room's upstairs...hhmmm. Ok, change of plans. We need to dig a basement, so the lift can raise. There we go! That way we can work on cars much easier. Muscle cars...no ricers! No Greg, it's not a redneck thing and yes I know pops owns a Honda...but that's different. That's a truck, not a car. I have some thoughts on a couple project cars here. Been following a few online...send ya the link dad, check it out. I might even throw a post here about "how to break down and rebuild a 5.0L V8 HO motor over the weekend," stay tuned!

Alright, back to the name thing. Yeah I know you want to meet me and it’s got to be the perfect name. I get it. But throw some options at me here. Let me crunch some numbers. I’ve downloaded some name apps, yes dad, only the free ones, (rolling eyes). Maximus, Leonitius, Arnold…i’m not the only thing floating around in here, I have ideas. There’s a lot going on inn…..oh sorry faded out for a second. Thought I heard someone knocking. Expecting a package.

So, I know you guys have a couple options...and probably a couple options that dad wants that mom said NO WAY to. That's cool. I'm looking forward to it. Hang in there mom, not much longer. I know that I am making you uncomfortable. But I am growing big and strong, you should see the guns on this guy! BOOM! haha. Alright, time for a swim...well, I seem to be swimming all the time. Man, am I gonna be kinda pruney when I come out. Anyways, talk to ya later guys.

Much Love,
BBW

My Mom

Hey guys. Happy New Year to everybody. I had a pretty low key night. Surprised, I know. I'm probably not old enough to party hard though. Give me 18 years or so, then it's on! Well, big news. Gators won the sugar bowl!!! Of course, no doubt in my mind. I mean c'mon, what do you expect. These are the big boys your playing here. But, congrats to Cincinnati on a good season. It's nice to have some different teams in the mix. Doesn't happen very much...wonder why. Maybe a playoff system should happen. Ok, that's another topic on another day! Just want to throw a shout out to The Gators, Tim Tebow, all the seniors and Urban Meyer. Good job guys. You will be missed Charlie Strong.

So I have had some people ask me to post some pictures of my mommy. I sent some emails, pulled some strings and here they are. She looks great huh! 37 weeks guys. We are getting close. I know my grandparents are excited to say the least. Oh yeah, the strangest thing happened to me the other day. I like dropped, as "they" call it. Yeah, I'm upside down, still, and now further down. So, my head is kind of in her pelvis I guess. Man, this is weird. I let mom know my frustration by kicking her bladder. Dude, she does not like that, let me tell you. She keeps giving me these talks. "Stop pushing on my bladder little man!" Hey, just having some fun. And another thing. Notice how she called me little man. For one, don't call a man little, not a good thing. Second, what's my name? Still...no name. Huh, you guys need to get on this ok. I know you have some ideas, but let's get a couple solid ideas. More to come on this subject, trust me.

Well, not much else going on. I heard my parents talking about a car seat. I think they are trying to figure out how to put in the cars. Good idea, figure that out now, I don't want to be sitting there in the cold while you yahoos try to get it in. Knowing dad he would probably pull out some duct tape and rope and tie me in. haha. Just kidding pops. I heard I have a really cool car seat, can't wait to see it. I'm going to need a little steering wheel attached to my car seat. Hey, a guy can't learn too early how to drive. Am I right! Ok, gotta go. It's bowl week in college football. Lot's of games to stream to my phone. Talk to ya guys later. Oh yeah, don't be afraid to follow my on blogspot. I have some pretty cool followers already, thanks guys, I am very flattered. I think it's really cool that you guys are following me...ha, didn't know I was that interesting. See ya and go SEC teams.

Love,
BBW
