Staying busy

Hey guys. I know, why no post lately? Well, I am 2 now, and I am busy. I run all over the place with dad and keep him on his toes. Plus mommy and daddy have been sick for a couple weeks, mostly better now, but I have been taking care of them. Man, they are a lot of work. I have been cleaning the house, vacuming, washing cars and feeding the dogs. Whew, I am a hard worker.

I went hiking not too long ago with moms and pops and the pups. It was fun. Chilly with the wind, but I got to ride on mommy's back in a pack. Now, let me tell you, that is riding in style and comfort. Need food, bam it's there. Water, no prob. And it's all happening while sitting down. Hey, I deserve a break, didn't you just read the previous paragraph? haha. I did do some hiking of my own too. Pretty icy and snow packed in places, but I did good. Better than the dogs. They were just too wound up and going crazy. Duke was pulling pops down the ice and all over the place. But, it was very pretty up there.

What Dad? Oh, ok, I gotta go. Think I have to help dad with some project, this guy is always busy with something. Sheesh. ;-).

Duke

So, guess what I got for my birthday? A motorcycle? No. A boat? No. A monster truck? Nope. A dog! His name is Duke. Daddy and I picked him out from the humane society. He is awesome and I love him a lot. Yes, he is kind of a pain sometimes, but he is a good boy. Just getting used to things. Probably spent most of his life in a shelter of some sort. He is about 2 years old. He is a mutt. Cattle dog and some pit I think. At least that is what I googled on my iphone. haha. He likes to chew and is really good at it, better than me I must say.

Why?

Well, Kali doesn't like me. She protects me, but doesn't like me to touch or play with her. She is a jerk. :) So, hence Duke. He doesn't care what I do. He loves playing with me all the time. I think he loves everything actually. He and Kali dog get along great and play all the time. As for Layla, well, that is to be seen. They have seen each other and Duke just wants to sniff her, but she isn't ready. Baby steps. She is getting better.

Birthday

Who's birthday was it, Tanner's. Yup I am two now. I can definitely see the difference. I feel smarter, taller and more grown up already. Had my two year check up, you know (to prove that I am ready to be two), the other day. I passed!

I got a bunch of cool stuff too. Some toys, plato, chalk board easel, football and other cool stuff. Thanks.

Well, my Grammie left yesterday. She had to go and see grandpa and her kitties. We had lots of fun and I was glad she was here to play with me. It was cool she came out for my birthday. Made me a cake and everything.

Gotta go take a bath. All for now.

Grammie is here!

Hey everybody, my Grammie is here to visit me. I am so excited. Dadda said I was talking up a storm and going crazy on the way to the airport. What can I say, I was excited. Too bad the weather isn't any good today. Wet, cold, and boring outside. Guess I will have to show grammie all my new toys and have her read me all of my books. Yeah, I said all of them. :) We are going to keep her busy and do lots of playing and running around. You know what, I'm not going to take a nap today...just don't tell pops, he won't like that.

By the way, yes, that is a Cars track suit with real Pumas. Yeah, you now have permission to be jealous. I picked that outfit out myself. I'm a cool dude y'all.

So my 2nd birthday is tomorrow. AWESOME. I don't know what I am doing, but it's my birthday. Probably a party, go to Disney World, eat pizza and chips all day, build a sand castle and drive in a race car. You know, stuff like that. That's what kids do on their second birthday right? I don't know, it's my first one, guess we'll wing it. Still love my iphone guys. Taking video, pictures, playing games, downloading applications, moving/trading stocks, making business calls, downloading music, and playing angry birds. Yup!

So far so good.

So, 1st full day with the big boy bed. Success? Maybe. I like having free roam and more independence. I also like to knock on the door and say "open door please." That's fun and super cute according to mommy.

So, I have to admit that i am not liking NFL football right now. Glad the 49ers are in but upset about the Packers. That's my team, I'm a cheese head dude. Yes, I am upset about the Broncos game. Of course I didn't expect them to win, but to lose the game in the 1st quarter. Kidding me? Bad bad bad. Oh well? Guess I am a 49ers fan this post season.

Skyped with Grammie and Grampi That was cool. I like their kitties. Plus I had a lot to tell them and show them my fireman hat of course.

Well, it's Elmo bubbles bath time guys. Time to play.

Movin up

Hi ladies and gentlemen. How are you? Me? Well, great, thanks for asking. So, something big happened today. Yup. I had my dad turn my crib into a big dude bed. Yeah, I am pretty cool now. I've got my own pillow, blanket and free roam of my room. Wait, so am I free range? Hmmm, have to think about that. Well, so far I love it and think its the coolest. If I want I get up and sit in my chair or rocker, done. Want to read a book, done. Turn the turtle light on, done. Yup, freedom. Although pops put a door nob thing on the inside so I can't escape. Ok, guess that knocks out the free range label. Probably a good idea, who knows what I will get into if I could have the run of the house. But, the whole thing is pretty ill if you ask me. ( ill means cool/awesome grandparents) ;).

Went to firehouse subs today for lunch. I know your proud pops. Did I eat? Nope! I had a fireman hat on. I was chasing ladies son. We sat outside so I could run around and throw my cute game. Come on, who doesn't like a fireman? If you didn't know I am a huge firetruck fan. Love them. I love the sirens and lights and it all. I love firetrucks like a fat kid loves cake. Haha. Kinda into all kinds of trucks. I like garbage trucks, snow plows, ambulances, tractor trailers, tow trucks Yup.

Ok guys. I have to get going and get ready for the big Tebow game tonight. I hope he has a great game. Take care.

Ok, so I've been slackin

So, I have been doing some reflection and soul searching. Know what i came up with? I am freakin awesome. It's a new year and I feel great. Made a new years resolution to take a picture of myself everyday to see how I change. Then I decided to kick this ole blog thing back up. Yes I know it's not January 1st. Yes I know it's been two weeks already into the new year, just deal with it. I have been busy. Traded my blackberry in for an iPhone...love it. It's taken me two weeks to get used to the different keyboard. So hear I am.

Well, for the few people in the world that don't know, I turn the big 2 on the 25th if January. I know I know, 2 already. Man time flies. Who knows how tall I am, haven't been to Dr. Mark in a while. I'm past daddy's waist, I know that. I have tons if energy, run around and play a lot. Love football too. Man I can't get enough of that stuff. College football that is. Pro...eh I could take it or leave it. Watch the Broncos to see my boy Tebow play. I like the Green Bay Packers. Oh yeah, and I am talking up a storm. You may ask, huh, how does that make sense? He's been writing a blog for almost two years. True...but just because I extremely smart and can type like a typewriter, doesn't mean I could speak. I could, but didn't want to freak the parents out with too much too fast.
